Research

For my senior capstone project at Kennesaw State University, my group worked to restore functionality to a pair of robots that the university had deemed unusable. As a group, we developed a mobile app that used a custom API to communicate directly with the operating system on the robots, which had completely modernized the user experience when working with them. I was also in charge of our project website; I created a timeline of our development progress throughout the semester and documented all of the API endpoints. Our group won second place in the Fall 2022 Computing Showcase.

The intention of the project was to create the foundation for future students to use the robots in their own capstone projects. Since we finished our project, I have assisted in getting successive groups started with the code. Two years later, students are still using our API in the development of their own projects.
